Day 53: Sube! Vas vas vas!

Last week I made another groundbreaking discovery. I found out that there is a sporting centre next to the university, in fact, that it belongs to the university (well, hello... about time after almost two months here!). It is quite similar to the municipal complejo deportivo where I go swimming, but there is no pool and instead there are more indoor sports available.

And what is most amazing about this facility? Without a doubt, the prices. The tickets are sold in an automatic machine next to the entrance. You just press the button of where you want to go - for me it is the ciclo indoor - and throw the money in. And as I have a discount with my student card, I can go spinning for an incredible 1 Euro per a 60 minutes’ class. And if you are thinking of old half-decomposed bikes and an unqualified instructor, you have another think coming! Our teacher Juani is professionalism personified, moreover she is really nice. There are 20 very new bikes available (none of them broken, aehm aehm) and the lesson is held 5 times a day 4 days a week. And it’s always full! Just another proof that the Spanish indeed are some sports freaks.

Minulý týždeň som urobila ďalší prevratný objav. Zistila som, že neďaleko univerzity je športové centrum, vlastne, že to športové centrum patrí univerzite (dobré ráno stará mama... bolo už načase po skoro dvoch mesiacoch, čo som tu!). Je dosť podobné mestskému complejo deportivo kam chodievam plávať, akurát tam nie je bazén, ale zato je na výber viacero indoorových športov.

A čo je na tomto zariadení najúžasnejšie? Bezpochyby sú to ceny. Lístky sa kupujú v automate vedľa vchodu. Jednoducho stlačíte gombík s názvom športu, na ktorý chcete ísť - u mňa je to ciclo indoor - a vhodíte tam peniaze. A s mojím preukazom študenta mám nárok na zľavu, čo znamená, že môžem ísť na spinning za neuveriteľné 1 Euro za 60 minútovú hodinu. A ak sa Vám už pred očami vynárajú starožitné rozhegané bicykle a nekvalifikovaná trénerka, tak na to hneď aj zabudnite! Naša cvičiteľka Juani je stelesnená profesionalita, a navyše je fakt milá. K dispozícii je 20 veľmi nových bicyklov (žiaden z nich nie je pokazený, ehm ehm) a hodiny sú 5 krát za deň 4 dni v týždni. A vždy sú plne obsadené! Ďalší dôkaz toho, že Španieli sú fakt poriadni športoví maniaci.
