Day 58: Sunday Lunch

This Sunday was a calm leisurely day, just like Sundays are supposed to. In the morning I treated myself to a nice brisk walk (I actually wanted to go swimming, but when I came to the pool it was “cerrado por avaria”, so I ended up having just the walk), then I did laundry and then I started cooking. Yes, after a couple of Sundays without it, we again organised a Sunday “family” lunch, the family being Romina, Silvia, Lena and me. We ate some Chinese chicken and then Romina opened a box of chocolates for desert. When a soul is at home, among their friends and family, they cannot imagine how good it can feel to meet with a couple of kindred spirits around the table. I hope we can make a more regular thing out of it.

Deň 58: Nedeľný obed

Táto nedeľa bola lenivá a pohodová, presne ako nedele majú byť. Ráno som si dopriala peknú svižnú prechádzku (vlastne som pôvodne chcela ísť plávať, ale keď som prišla na plaváreň zistila som, že je “cerrado por avaria”, takže som skončila iba s prechádzkou), potom som prala a začala som variť. Áno, po niekoľkých nedeliach bez neho sme znova zorganizovali náš nedeľný “rodinný” obed, pričom pod rodinou myslím Rominu, Silviu, Lenu a mňa. Zjedli sme kuraciu čínu, a potom Romina otvorila krabičku čokolády ako dezert. Keď je človek doma, medzi rodinou a priateľmi, nevie si predstaviť ako dobre to padne stretnúť sa okolo prestretého stola s partiou spriaznených duší. Dúfam, že sa nám podarí spraviť si z toho tradíciu.
